With Thompson out, Huckabee may get a boost in Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas… But it’s hard to tell who it helps in Florida, where polls show Huckabee plunging and a three-way fight between Giuliani, McCain and Romney.
Hunter College, part of the City University of New York, released a poll showing overwhelming support for Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani among gay, lesbian and bisexual voters. There’s only one problem — the math, as best as I can tell, doesn’t seem to add up.
Mike Huckabee is in free-fall in Florida, according to Rasmussen Reports — especially among evangelicals.
“We don’t agree on much,” Clinton says. “But he is a very good man.”
Which is harder? Finding a Jew in New York who supports Mike Huckabee? Or a Mormon in Nevada who likes Mike?
If the final results mirror the exit polls and the early returns, Fred Thompson scored a big, big win in South Carolina today.*
According to exit polls, Mitt Romney captured 95 percent of the Mormon vote in Nevada. Mike Huckabee, on the other hand, captured somewhere between 0 percent and 0.5 percent of the LDS vote.
