Mike Huckabee left Wisconsin in the midst of the presidential campaign last week so he could give a speech for pay in the Cayman Islands. This week, he’ll leave Texas in the midst of the campaign so he can give a speech for pay in Colorado.
No details available on the speech yet, except that it’s not campaign-related. As soon as the campaign releases more information, I’ll let you know.

Ohhhhh, the networks are annoying when they are coy with exit poll data. But they’re giving us some tantalizing hints this time. Some of these numbers, supplied by Time Magazine’s Mark Halperin, suggest a good night for Barack Obama. But there are still a few maddening gaps in the data.

The Clinton campaign is accusing Barack Obama of plagiarism. And it’s bad to be a plagiarist if you work for a university or a newspaper. It’s a career-ending offense for journalists. But politicians borrow words all the time. Even Hillary Clinton.

Southern Baptists and Catholics haven’t always gotten along, but there is something just downright Knights of Columbus-friendly about the guy—squirrel-roasting aside. Huck’s delegate math will need to cash in more than a few chits with St. Jude, the patron saint of lost causes, but hey, in theology, if you can make do with five loaves and fishes, what’s the big deal about delegates?
