Pretty good list, though I wonder why The Mission was left off. I’ll need to rewatch The Blues Brothers before deciding whether its inclusion makes sense.

Who, forgot that great 1884 Places in the Heart, not to mention Jesus of Montreal and even Pleasantville (an Exodus movie – I can say that looking at the thin rational for some on this list)

I might gently point out that there are no movies here produced by World Wide Pictures, nor are there any Russ Doughten movies, nor any Mormon movies, of which there are surprisingly many.
“Fifty most popular Hollywood movies with religious themes,” maybe, but not “Fifty most important religion movies.”
