Amazing what you can do with technology…
flockwoodAs Washington editor of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, I’m on a bunch of e-mail lists, including the list for MoveOn.org.
Today, they sent me an amazing video. Essentially, they’ve figured out a way to insert the e-mail receipient’s name into the body of a video.
In this case, mine. [If you go there, just click on the "Not on Facebook" option and it will take you straight to the video...]

The greatest thing about this, Frank, is that when I just looked at the video, one of the sidebar videos on the right side had the headline “Should Obama Distance Himself from Lockwood?” So, Frank, if the White House starts acting cool toward you, this is the reason . . .

And one of the other ones says “I never realized Frank was a socialist commie fascist.” This is great stuff!

I’ve seen this with direct mail for decades. You know: Congratulations FRANK LOCKWOOD If your number is selected YOU’VE WON THE PUBLISHER’S CLEARING HOUSE $20 MILLION GRAND PRIZE.
But I’ve never seen this done with video. It’s brilliant!

I’ve finally gotten the video to play (thank you Bill Gates), and some of the charges against you, Frank, are pretty rough. They say you’ve eaten rice, the staple food of China. Is this true? And they further claim that you’ve used the search engine Google, which is the favorite search engine of terrorists. Having known you as long as I have, Frank, I might believe the part about the rice, but Google? Nah.
They’ve gone to a lot of trouble with this. When your name comes up, they have it in different typefaces, and written on blackboards and signs and things (Looks like you got lots of support at your rallies). And when they transliterated your name into Greek, it looked like they got it right. Wow.
