Clinton and Huckabee meet up in San Antonio

Shortly before the Hillary-Barack debate in Austin, Bill Clinton and Mike Huckabee bumped into each other at a San Antonio landmark. No, not the Alamo.

I’m told it was Mi Tierra, the best 24-hour bakery/restaurant in the Lone Star State.

A Huckabee senior adviser says the Republican presidential candidate was dining with his family when the other Man from Hope walked into the room.

Huckabee and Clinton apparently greeted each other warmly, and Clinton talked up the mango ice cream at the Menger Hotel, across the street from the Alamo.

[Oddly enough, I had stopped by the Menger Hotel to try the mango ice cream earlier in the day...]

I’m not sure why Bill was in San Antonio instead of watching his wife debate in Austin. For the next 10 days, every major politician in the U.S. will be criss-crossing the Lone Star State…
