From my experience with the OCA, what he means is, that he is willing to bring them into the OCA. Given this new Anglican group ordains women, has a strong Evangelical, and Charismatic core, I doubt he will be successful.
I would be interested to know the OCA’s present positioning within Orthodoxy (i.e., Greek, Syrian, etc.). Is there full recognition of Orders?

Everybody wants a big tent, but they all want to decide who gets to sit in it.

In the Bible we are told that God stretches the tent, not those who sit under it.

That’s my point, Alice. God has given us a tent big enough for everyone, but some don’t want to let people who don’t agree with them in. The whole point of a big tent is that we don’t have to agree on everything to be in the tent.

It’s the OCA right to decide who sits in it. Women priests is unbiblical. It goes against Orthodox teaching. The Orthodox have every right to declare who sits in the tent.

I suspect, Vlad, that this will simply mean that the tent will be very small indeed. If that’s what you want, fine, but don’t act like you want a big tent.
