At least Kathy knows what she believes and doesn't believe in everything, just to be politically correct for the sake of the "mainstream Christian". The Bible says "Test everything. Hold on to the good." (I Thess 5) God said that because He knew His truths could stand up to any scrutiny. I encourage you to test His word and discover through your own personal experiences what is worth believing in, and not leave it to theology. Certainly her first grade view of church history and development wouldn't go over well in any crowd that had actually studied theology.
