Or the $23,500 to the whale museum on some island off Washington? Or the $34,500 they gave to the United States Equestrian Team to help them teach horses to jump over things?

It appears that, for better or worse, this foundation was founded by the former Gannett executive to fund whatever he and his wife are interested in. They also appear interested in paying their executives unconscionably high salaries, according to the blog.</description>
