		<description>So Warren wasn&#039;t impressed with Obama&#039;s desire not to get embroiled in a controversy that can&#039;t possibly help him. Perhaps he was more impressed with McCain&#039;s mouthing of a formulaic response that is meant only to pander to the pro-life crowd without dealing with the realities of modern life. I don&#039;t imagine the rabbis, who are probably smarter than Obama and McCain put together, would have thought much of either answer, though they would have respected the political canniness behind Obama&#039;s.</description>
